This link will direct you to the course offerings at NIST, Boulder, and allow you to register online for the Display Metrology Short Course (DMSC). If on-line registration is not yet available for the course you want to attend, please contact our registrar, Wendy McBride (303-497-4500). Contact  Wendy McBride (303-497-4500) for late or last-minute registrations and any cancellations. Foreign visitors (non U.S.A citizens) please note comments below.

Registration & check-in will be held in the lobby of the NIST building, from 8:00 a.m. 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday of the course. The course will end at 5:00 p.m. the following Thursday. Continental breakfasts, lunches, and afternoon refreshments will be provided each day. Because some have had difficulty finishing all the laboratory experiments, you are welcome to stay an extra day (Friday) to finish up.

Please make all payment arrangements by the first day of the meeting. Receipts will be provided upon request during check-in. Request for cancellation and/or refund must be made in writing no later than two weeks before the course.

As a federal agency, we have been placed on a tightened security plan and have therefore had to implement the following: All participants must wear their meeting badge to events scheduled at the Department of Commerce (DOC) campus, which includes NIST. All participants are required to show picture identification (for foreign attendees, this is a passport), to the police at the guard station when entering the DOC campus and upon entrance to Building One. The DOC police may be randomly searching vehicles as they arrive on site. Please be aware that you may be asked to pull over and allow the police to inspect your vehicle. These are random inspections at the discretion of the DOC police. Upon entrance to the building, individuals will need to present a picture ID. Once the ID has been presented, individuals will be required to pass through a magnetometer and may be subject to having any bags, purses, suitcases, briefcases, etc. searched by DOC security. Attendees are required to wear their meeting badge at all times while on campus. If an attendee leaves the campus and returns, that person will be required to show picture identification again to the guard at the guard station upon reentry to the site. That person will once again be subject to random vehicle search, and will be required to have bags checked, and will be required to pass through a magnetometer. Meeting attendees are allowed access only to the lobby, restroom area and cafeteria of Building One, unless escorted by a DOC employee.

FOREIGN VISITORS PLEASE NOTE:
If you are a foreign visitor, we will need you to submit additional information to notify the DOC Security of your visit. Visit the registration web site, check "No,"  and proceed to enter the information as required. Here is a list of the kinds of things requested:
